Learn How To Speak Spanish Greetings

When you are just starting to learn Spanish, greetings will usually be the first lesson being taught. What will you do if you do not know how to say Hello.  Hi and Hello are some simple greetings.An added advantage is because you do not have to know too many verbs or word phrases. The known reason is that you can learn Spanish in its simple form. The greetings are learnt in simple words. No extra words need to be researched or included. As I have said before, when you learn Spanish the first word you need to learn is Hello. How do you put it in Spanish? We may greet the person and say "Hola".

Hola is used very frequently. You use that to greet people that you meet. If you are trying to say hello on the phone, you can say "bueno" or "diga. "

If you want to say "goodbye" in Spanish, you can say, Adiós.

What do you say when you want to greet a person "How are you"? You may greet him by saying  ¿Cómo estás? To greet a person, Good afternoon. You can greet him also by saying,  Buenas tardes.  If you want to say,  "Good morning" or "Good day," you can say, Buenos días. Good night - in Spanish is buenos noches, and when you want to ask what someone's name is, you can ask, ¿Cómo te llamas?

Once you can remember all these simple greetings, it will be easy for you to learn Spanish. You will find some more difficult terms later on as you proceed. Other basics that you can start learning are numbers, the alphabet, telling time, asking for directions, gender, color, parts of the body, and your family.

Learning these types of everyday phrases will help you learn Spanish faster because you will able to practice these words daily. People say hello and good night everyday so you will feel at ease using your Spanish often.

As you progress, you will be able to form more complex greetings phrases, like, Hello, how are you today? or Hi, the weather is fine today, isn't it?

You can start to ask more advanced questions like How's the going? To translate that in Spanish, you can say ¿Qué pasa? If you want to say, What's New? you can say, ¿Qué hay? If you want to say nice meeting you you can say Mucho gusto.

The above are some examples of the intermediate and more advanced greetings that are easy to pick up. They are some little steps for you to learn Spanish while getting to know different people.

In Spain, it is very common for people to kiss each other on both sides of the cheeks when they meet. However, men do usually shake their hands. Even though people kiss each other on their cheeks often when they meet, they do not do it all the time. A good example in the context of a business meeting, you will not see people kissing each other on their cheeks.

If you are in America, you may not want to try kissing everyone when you learn Spanish, even if it's another Spanish friend. Many people from different cultures have got used to the American culture, and Americans usually do not kiss when they first meet. However, when you visit Spain, you may want to try it. It will be as much fun as you learn Spanish.
